Geneva, 24-25 November 2022 | The theme of this year’s session was “Strengthening democracies to build back better: challenges and opportunities”, in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 46/4, adopted on 23 March 2021.
November 2022 | On the 11th and 12th of November, Ignasi Grau (director of OIDEL) was invited by ACE-Ireland of Notre Dame University and the Catholic Education Partnership to provide a two-part training.
On the 11th of October, 20 scholars and experts on educational policies from around the world gathered in Budapest to share thoughts, projects, and research and to discuss education for the future.
From the 4th to the 6th of October, Claire de Lavernette represented OIDEL in the Autumn Session of the Conference of International Non-Governmental Organizations (CINGO) of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
The 51st Human Rights Council took place in Geneva from the 12th of September to the 7th of October where in-person participation of States and civil society has notably increased since the start of the year.
The “Defending Freedom Conference” took place in Tallinn (Estonia) from the 21st to the 24th of September.
After nine months of work, we are pleased to present the publication of the sixth edition of the “Selective Bibliography on the Right to Education”.
The 50th session of the Human Rights Council took place in Geneva from June 13 to July 8.
Last June 11th, OIDEL was invited to participate in the General Assembly and Conference of the European Parents Association.
OIDEL kicked off the month of June by resuming its face-to-face activities in Geneva.
