Madrid (Spain), 11th June 2025 | At the CEU San Pablo University headquarters in Madrid, the report “Trends in Freedom of Education Worldwide: Analysis of Its Enablers and Its Relation to Social Mobility and Equity” was presented. The study, authored by Gonzalo Sanz-Magallón, a researcher at CEU-CEFAS, is based on the Global Education Freedom Index (FEI 2023), developed by OIDEL, and a thorough review of academic literature on the strong performance of non-state schools in many countries.
Geneva (Switzerland), 28th-29th May 2025 | The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) recently hosted an expert workshop on the role of the family and family-oriented policies in the promotion and protection of human rights and the achievement of sustainable development.
Brussels (Belgium), 20th-21st May 2025 | OIDEL participated in the 2025 edition of Think Tank Central, New Direction’s annual flagship conference. The event brought together leading centre-right civil society organisations under the theme: “Freedom in a Changing World”, focusing on how to advance liberty in the face of conflict, economic uncertainty, and cultural polarization.
