London (UK), 17th-19th February 2025 | ARC Conference brings together through leaders from different fields such as politics, psychology, education, policy making, and the arts to interrogate some of today’s most important social and cultural questions. Questions like “How do we create a culture that empowers every citizen to take responsibility and contribute who they are to prosper society?” and “What is the proper role of the family, the community and the nation in creating this culture?” and of course, ”What is the role of education in all of this?”.

The event was inaugurated by the institution’s CEO, Philippa Stroud and counted with contributions from prominent thinkers, entrepreneurs, and intellectuals, including Jordan B. Peterson, clinical psychologist, writer, and professor emeritus at the University of Toronto; Ayaan Hirsi Ali, politician, writer and activist; Erica Komisar, parent guidance expert, Bari Weiss, founder and editor of The Free Press; and former Australian Prime-Ministers Tony Abbott and Scott Morrison.

The 3-day event was a valuable experience for OIDEL as it enriched our perspective on the role of education, freedom of education, and cultural rights in the wider context of human and societal flourishing.
